St. Augustine Alligator Farm in Florida

St. Augustine Alligator Farm and Zoological Park is located in beautiful St. Augustine Florida. The park, which was founded in 1893, is now one of the largest zoological attractions in Florida. With exhibits featuring animals from around the world, photo experiences with the animals, and multiple shows, this park is designed with education and fun for the whole family in mind.

Featured Animals
St Augustine Alligator Farm and Zoological Park offers visitors the opportunity to view birds such as herons, macaws, vultures, cockatoos, the double-wattled cassowary (the world’s most dangerous bird), egrets, ibis, spoonbills, storks, toucans, parrots, and Australia’s own laughing Kookaburra. Boas, king cobras, pythons, rat snakes, rattlesnakes, temple vipers, geckos, bearded dragons, komodo dragons, caiman, American alligators, Chinese alligators, and 13 species of crocodiles are featured in the various reptilian exhibits.

Also featured at the park are eight species of endangered monkeys, including the South American pygmy marmoset and the spider monkey.

  • Realm of Alligator
    This in an education based program designed to give visitors little known facts about alligators.
  • Scales and Tales
    This show has been designed to teach visitors various facts about snakes and other reptiles featured at the park.
  • Rainforest Review
    This show features exotic parrots and other rainforest animals. Visitors will gain knowledge of how the animals and rainforest affect the health of the planet.
  • Florida’s Forest Friends
    This show is targeted toward children. Using animals and fun activities, visitors will learn about animal habitats, biodiversity, and the health of the environment.
  • Alligator Feeding
    While watching these shows, visitors will be amazed by the power of the alligators jaw as they watch the animals leap for their food.

Hours of Operation
The park is open 9 a.m. -5 p.m. every day. During the summer, hours are extended until 6 p.m.
