Sea World Orlando

Large theme parks like Disney and Universal aside, Sea World is easily the next most popular attraction in the Orlando area. The pace here is much slower than the other major theme parks, but that’s not to say the lines aren’t as long, the food equally expensive, and the ticket prices high. All these things aside, Sea World is a great attraction and well worth the visit, especially if you have never been before.

About the Park
The best way to describe Sea World is that it is like an interactive zoo that focuses on marine life. You would be sadly mistaken if you thought that sea world was just an over sized aquarium. While there are a number of walk through aquariums on the property, the parks main attractions are its shows.

Sea World has a large number of shows that shows. These shows are nothing short of impressive and often showcase plenty of humor and amazing animals feats. The most popular show in the park would of course be that of the famous killer whale, Shamu. The shamu stadium offers under water views, aerial views from the stadium seating, and even a few rows that are promised to get soaked!

Other attractions at the park include such things as the Penguin Encounter, Wild Arctic, Shark Encounter, Journey to Atlantis, Key West Dolphin Stadium, Turtle Point, Stingray Lagoon, Manatees, Dolphin Cove, and more.

Like many other major theme parks, Sea World has a somewhat hefty entrance fee, but it is well worth it. Here are some of the current ticket prices:

  • Adult: $69.95
  • Child: $59.95
