Naples Museum of Art

With 15 galleries of modern and contemporary art including paintings, sculptures and drawings, the Naples Museum of Art is known as the cultural destination in Naples, Florida. The museum offers educational programs, such as school, family and docent programs, as well as an art library and an education resource room. Many lectures are held at the museum by important members of the art world who are experts in their field. Along with world-class art, the Garden Café and the Museum Store are also part of the Naples Museum art complex.

What to Expect
Museum patrons may view the seasonal exhibitions, peruse collections or attend lectures. Season exhibitions for 2008-09 include Fernando Botero, Norman Rockwell and Marsden Hartley. Museum collections include American modernism, Mexican modernism, and sculpture and 3-dimensional art by artists such as Allan Houser and Ernest Trova. Lecturers include Larry Dinkin and Elizabeth Sterling.

General Admission
The price of admission is $8 for adults and $4 for students except for the dates of January 31st until May 3rd when the price of admission is $12 for adults and $6 for students. Seasonal memberships are available. Tickets may be purchased: 1. in person at the Customer Service Center; 2. by telephone – 1-800-597-1900; 3. online at the museum’s website www.thephil.org.

Hours of Operation
The museum is open Tuesday-Saturday from 10:00am until 4:00pm and on Sunday from 12:00pm until 4:00pm from October 2008 until June 2009. The museum will be closed from July 2009 until October 2009. The museum is also closed on Mondays and all major holidays.

Guided Tours
Complimentary docent-guided tours are available from October until May at 11:00am and 2:00pm Tuesday-Saturday. Complimentary guided tours are not available on Sundays.

From I-75, take exit 107 which will be Pine Ridge Road
Follow Pine Ridge Road west toward the beaches for approximately 5 miles
Turn right onto U.S. Hwy 41
At the first light, take a left onto Pelican Bay Blvd
The Naples Museum of Art will be one block ahead on the left at 5833 Pelican Bay Blvd
