If you find yourself in Florida and in search of a surf school, the first place you should check into is Florida Surf Lessons. The company is the premier surf school in Florida and are internationally recognized. They have been featured in a variety of magazines and the New York Times. The world class surf instructors are some of the most talented surfers and most recognized teachers around. They offer a variety of classes from intermediate levels to competition levels and work on 14 of Florida’s most popular beaches.

Lessons and Packages
Saturday lessons are $99 and last for three hours.

Weekday workshops are $79 and last two hours.

Private lessons are two hours long and rates may only be provided through direct contact.

Instructor for a day is a lesson that allows you to ‘borrow’ an instructor for either eight hours, from 9am to 5pm or five and a half hours, from 9am to 2pm. Again, rates for this lesson are only provided through direct contact.

Complete training is offered in three different levels. All levels are priced according to what the package includes, such as a board type, skill level, hours of lessons, etc. Current complete training rates are: Level one $650, level two $900, and level three $1150.

Safe Surfer Certification requires a $25 registration fee and a testing fee. Private testing is $35 and group testing is $25.

Surf Camp is held in Cocoa Beach, Florida, Monday thru Friday from 9am to 2:30pm. If you pay by the week the cost is $399. If you pay by the day the cost is $125.

Some of the packages and lessons have a shuttle included in the price. All the instructors are CPR and First Aid certified and can provide soft boards for beginners to decrease chances of injury. The company provides all equipment necessary in all packages and lessons. They teach lessons in English, Spanish, and French all year round.
