Dolphins Plus – Key Largo

Dolphins Plus, Key Largo – Florida will give you the chance to swim with sea lions and dolphins. You will never forget the experience.

Dolphins Plus was created to protect marine mammals, provide education to the public, do research, provide experimental learning, and environmental awareness. Sea bottlenose dolphins and California sea lions live in seawater homes that were naturally created in a canal adjacent to the Atlantic Ocean, an hour’s drive south of Miami.

What to Expect
Unlike in some other facilities, you can actually swim in a dolphin’s natural home, not in shallow water. You can expect to participate in a variety of swims, some with no direct contact with the dolphins, with you wearing a mask, fins, and snorkel. With our structured swims, however, you can expect to actually to participate in belly rubs, kisses, and dorsal tows with the dolphins. You can expect to get close to the sea lions too.
