Carrie B Cruise

Carrie B Cruises – Florida provides sightseeing cruises through the waterways of Ft. Lauderdale, an area known as the “Venice of America.” The Carrie B. has an outside upper deck with both sunny and covered areas and a fully air-conditioned lower deck. The Captain is also the guide, providing interesting and humorous narration during the cruise.

What To Expect
The Carrie B. offers three one-and-a-half hour cruises daily, and in December, offers a two-hour evening cruise to see the holiday lights. The Carrie B. is Coast Guard certified and can accommodate 300 passengers. Reservations are not required for the daytime cruises but are strongly recommended for the December evening cruise.

During the daytime cruise, the sights include the yachts and homes of Ft. Lauderdale’s wealthy and famous residents along the New River, the massive cruise ships in Port Everglades, and many historic buildings and other places of interest. The cruise also passes by visiting US Navy ships in port and “The Triangle,” a sandbar which is a popular rendezvous point for smaller boats to stop and let their owners take a quick dip.

Options on board the Carrie B. include enjoying the covered seating on the top deck, strolling on the sun deck, and enjoying the excellent view from the huge windows on the air conditioned lower deck. Also on the lower deck is a snack and beverage bar; offerings there include hot dogs, soft pretzels, freshly squeezed lemonade, soft drinks and a full bar.

An outstanding sound system helps to convey the informative and entertaining narration from the Guide/Captain. The commentary is both personable and fact-filled.
